GLUTEN-FREE AND LACTOSE-FREE APPLE PIE

This gluten-free, lactose-free apple cake with honey instead of sugar is truly delicious.
It is made with rice flour and honey.
The baking is even and perfect because the apples have been sliced with a slicer and are all the same thickness.

INGREDIENTS FOR A 24 CM BAKING PAN

  • 2 or 3 golden apples
  • 200 g rice flour
  • 50 g sunflower oil
  • 100 g acacia honey
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

PROCEDURE

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (static).
  • Beat the eggs with the honey, add the seed oil
  • Mix the flour with the baking powder, cinnamon, and lemon zest.
  • Put everything in the bowl with the liquid ingredients and mix well.
  • Wash the apples, cut them into quarters, and remove the cores.
  • Slice them with a slicer to the desired thickness.
  • Grease and flour a 24 cm cake pan, pour in the batter, and then add the apple slices.
  • Top with cinnamon and honey and bake for 30 minutes, then test with a toothpick.
