ZUCCHINI PIE WITH SMOKED PROVOLA CHEESE

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE

  • 2 zucchini (about 300 g)
  • 1 smoked provola cheese
  • 5 taralli
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

PROCEDURE

  • Slice the zucchini with a slicer to a thickness of 2 cm.
  • Slice the smoked p to a thickness of 1.5 cm.
  • Place the zucchini and provola cheese in a small baking dish, alternating layers.
  • Finally, crumble the taralli and sprinkle them over the pie with a drizzle of oil.
  • Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  • Serve with pepper to taste, either warm or cold.

Cutting the pie evenly with a slicer ensures that it cooks evenly.
